Requirements
SAVEHUMS is admitting students in order to fulfill the following objectives: gaining international recognition, establishing more constant and effective global communications, entering a qualitative and scientific competition with universities and reputable international centers and also expanding the Persian language and introducing Islamic culture and civilization, knowledge, and art. For admission to SAVEH University of Medical Sciences without the entrance exam, the following are required:
1. General requirements:
1.1 Nationality and residence:
- Only non-Iranian citizens residing in Iran who have legal residence permits can be admitted to the University.
- Applicants with dual nationality (Iranian and non-Iranian) can't register.
- Applicants should have residence permission in SAVEH. (a confirmation must be obtained from the Provincial Government)
- Applicants must present the following identification documents for initial admission:
- Political asylum booklet issued by the Islamic Republic of Iran Police Force.
- Valid passport with visa and residence for at least six months.
- An identity card was issued by the Bureau for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants Affairs of the ministry of interior in that year.
- The university is required to send a photo of pages of passport and the initial application form to the Educational Services Center. After final approval by Educational Services Center the definitive registration will be done.
- Non-Iranian applicants who live in Iran can apply according to the rules and regulations of the National Organization of Educational Testing in the Manual of Konkor booklet.
1.2 Health certificate:
Holding a valid physical and mental health certificate issued by the panel physician of the IRI Embassy and the university.
NOTE: The condition of the physical health will be according to the following table:

1.3 Persian language skills:
Sufficient proficiency in the Persian language according to credential of Success in Persian Language Test.
The applicant's sufficient proficiency in the Persian language will be tested in one of the following ways:
The proficiency of applicants who spend their previous educations in Iran is acceptable.
The proficiency of other applicants who didn’t spend their previous educations in Iran should be approved by Valid Persian Learning Centers like Imam Khomeini International University in Qazvin and then it should be approved by an educational council of the university.
Applicants who don’t have any acquaintance with the Persian language should spend Persian classes in one of the Valid Persian Language institutions and applicants should pay its costs.
2. Special requirements:

* The classes of Iranian and non-Iranian students may/may not be separated proportionally to the number of applicants.
** There are also other possibilities for those whose GPA is less than 18.00, i.e. a percentage less than 90: in the case of holding a High School Diploma with a GPA of 17.50 - 17.99 (i.e. a percentage of 87.50 - 90), the applicant may be admitted to the Univerity with a 10% increase in tuition fees and in case of holding a High School Diploma with a GPA of 17.00 - 17.49 (i.e. a percentage of 85 - 87.50), the applicant may be admitted to the University with a 20% increase in tuition fees.
NOTE 1: Applicants not holding a diploma as valuable as the Diploma of the Islamic Republic of Iran should spend extra courses to meet the requirements of an Iranian high school diploma. The length of the courses is going to be determined by the university and they successfully pass the pre-university courses.
NOTE 2: Applicants holding a diploma from Islamic Republic of Iran schools in foreign countries may continue their education in the universities of Iran.
2.2 Age limit
Non-scholarship students without Konkour (at the student's own expense) who have a high school diploma should have a maximum age of 30 years for an associate degree, BSc, MD, and DDS.
NOTE: There is no age limit for the applicants for Ph.D. as well as residency.
NOTE: International Graduates holding these degrees are not permitted to work in Iran.
